Prayer + Fasting
We are going to start how we finished.
We started our journey with prayer, and now we are going to end with prayer. Again, prayer is our time to communicate with The Almighty. This is an amazing privilege. When you repent, pick up your cross, and follow Jesus, God will gift you His Spirit. Essentially, this means that you can talk to God whenever you want. At any point of any moment, you can have 5-10 minutes with Jesus. You can have however long you want. This is relationship. God is already knocking and speaking to us, now we can speak with Him.
Fasting is essential for all believers because when we deny our flesh, we bring ourselves to submission under God. We eat the food of Christ and not the food of man. We will go into fasting deeper in another section, however if you want to grow deeper in your relationship with Christ, just know that this is a cheat code for spiritual growth.
